Why Not Guinness?
Guinness is often considered a representative of dark beers, but it is actually a unique style known as a dry Irish stout. This is not the dark beer in NC we will discuss. While it is a well-known and widely consumed beer, it is not necessarily a good representation of the wide variety of dark beers available.
Craft Beer In NC
North Carolina has a thriving craft beer scene, and there are many excellent dark beers produced by local breweries that are worth trying. Some examples include:

These are only a few examples of the many excellent dark beers produced in North Carolina. Each brewery has its own unique take on dark beers, and it's always fun to try different styles and find your own personal favorites.
